“We Used to Take the Long Way Home” Heads to PROOF Film Festival

We’re thrilled to announce that We Used to Take the Long Way Home is officially part of the 2025 PROOF: Proof of Concept Film Festival, running November 7–9 at the Culver Theatre in Los Angeles. Screening as part of the “Homecoming” block of shorts. From PROOF:

What does it mean to go home when you’ve changed so much? When things stay the same, yet you are different? We’re excited to showcase these three films which tackle all those complicated emotions that we resonate with.

Directed by An Nguyen, the film will screen alongside an incredible lineup of films designed to spark future features, series, and larger-scale projects. PROOF is one of the only festivals in the country dedicated entirely to proof-of-concept shorts — a showcase built for filmmakers pushing toward the next step.
